My son turned 20 years old this week. Talk about feeling old! Anyhow, this is the card that was made for him. I know it has a butterfly on it but he didn't mind.

Card and Candle Swap III

Hi again,
This is card #3. This card is for the floral scented candle group but I have no idea what scent to use. The set used is a CTMH clear stamp set called Rustic Flowers that I purchased off of my sis-in-law (Deb). I used Distressed ink and stazon ink. The picture does not do this card justice.
I have one more card to make for this swap in the spice scented group which will be finished soon.

Card & Candle Swap II

Hello again. Here is my second set of cards for the SC candle and card swap. I thought I was going to us the citronella candles with the covered bridge card but decided to use them with this picnic card instead. It definitely fits the theme better. This card was created using a Stampin' Up stamp set called Lady Bug Picnic. Colors used are garden green, real red and whisper white. I glued little wiggly eyes on the ladybug. (talk about cute!!) My next card for this swap will be in a floral theme so check back soon to see another. Hope all you moms have a great mother's day!

Candles, Cards & Camaraderie Swap

That's it!! I'm addicted. I am participating in another swap on Split Coast. Only this one has a little twist. The twist is to include a candle (tea light) that goes along with the theme of your card. Pretty neat, huh!? I chose the food/fruit and outdoors themes. I am not finished with the food/fruit yet but will post it when I'm done. Any how, I will be including a citronella candle (tea light) with my outdoors card. The set used for this is called Changing Seasons by Stampin Up. Very, very elegant set. I love the country look of covered bridges, don't you? The colors used are Purely Pomagranate, Chocolate Chip and River Rock.

Brown amd ????? Card Swap

Hi everyone. This is one of six cards I put together for a card swap for SCS. The colors are chocolate brown, blush blossom and buckaroo blue. The blush blossom looks a lot darker in the scan than it truly is, so does the blue. I love how they came out. The daisies are cut from Heidi Grace memory paper and are fuzzy. When I receive the cards that other SCS members made, I will definitely be posting them.
